How It All Started
Drawing on our experience in the industrial absorbent industry, we thought “why don’t we bring its benefits to the household consumer? Everyone has spills. Some spills can be quite nasty; they can also be quite expensive to clean. We can offer an affordable solution.”
My husband is an engineer and he created the prototype. Pulling from my marketing background, I knew we had to come up with a relatable moniker. If we could also make it a "call to action", that would be great.
What’s synonymous with absorb? Drink in. Sponge up. Soak up. Suck up. Suck it up. Just Suck it up! Having changed the spelling for fun, that's how Just Suk It Up came to be.
Just Suk It Up.com® is a manufacturer of reusable Absorbent and Spill-Containment Mats. They say “Precaution is better than cure”; we could not agree more. In fact, we built our whole business model around this proverb.

Oil stains are a symptom of car and BBQ ownership, for example. They’re unsightly blots on asphalt or paved driveways, composite or wood decks. Cleaning is difficult and can be expensive. One course of action is to buy a commercial cleaning solution - or another is to take preventative measures by placing down one of our Garage or BBQ mats.
Avoid damage under your sinks due to water leaks. The plywood bottom of a kitchen or bathroom sink cabinet can become damaged over time due to water leaks. To keep this from happening, cover the bottom with our Under-the-Sink mat.
